Welcome to the official website for Christian Karate Academy Federation! Everything needed for testing is already uploaded, and we are hoping to eventually add videos for everything as well. If you have something to offer in helping with this site, please let us know!
The Christian Karate Academy began in 1990 at Rock Springs Baptist Church in Forest Park, Georgia by Master Kenneth Daniel. This ministry was started not only to teach self-defense and Karate to Christians, but also as a way to reach non-Christians and non-church members and give them a way to see the love of Jesus Christ.
The schools offer the Chuck Norris Karate Systems style of Karate based on Tang Soo Do, a martial art form originating in Korea. Lessons in Hapkido, Judo, and other martial arts are also studied.
The Christian Karate Academy Federation expanded to a new location in Douglasville, then to the gym of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Stockbridge, and then to Cedar Grove Baptist Church until finally settling at Henry Baptist Church in McDonough, where we are still headquartered.
This is a church function and all rules pertaining to church will apply in this class.
No horseplay! Discipline is one of the most important factors in Karate.
You are being taught self-defense. Karate is to be used only when there is no other option. It is never to be used in an aggressive or an offensive manner.
While you are in class, you will be expected to be respectful and attentive at all times, so as not to distract others who wish to learn. Someone could get hurt as a result of your inattention. The churches that sponsor the martial arts classes of the Christian Karate Academy Federation will be in no way responsible for any injuries that may be sustained while taking this class, so exercise caution at all times.
