It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

As for God, his way is perfect: the way of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Know ye that the LORD he is GOD: it is he that hath made us and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Thy word have I his in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
